More About Kathy

Kathy and her family love their unique surname and have fun with it. The name Dork was changed from Dvořák when her husband’s great, great grandfather decided to Americanize the name when he opened Dork’s Groceries in Saginaw, Michigan. Her husband is also related to the famous Czech composer Antonín Dvořák. Antonín was considered the black sheep of the family because he became a composer and did not follow in the family business to become a butcher. Coincidentally, the massive butcher block used in Dork’s Groceries is proudly displayed in their Lake Skegemog kitchen.

Kathy enjoys sharing what this beautiful area’s lifestyle has to offer her clients with her local knowledge and expertise; which include a multitude of outdoor activities offering gorgeous nature trails for walking, hiking and biking in addition to boating and golfing as well as wonderful dining, boutique shopping along with unique events and activities for everyone.
